ARK Invest is tokenizing its ARK Venture Fund, a $1.3 billion vehicle, through Securitize on Ethereum. The Block reports that this is the first ARK fund to be brought onchain.
Eligible investors may access the tokenized fund, with Securitize providing the infrastructure for issuance and access. The existing ARKVX portfolio remains unchanged. OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe and Databricks are among the private and public technology companies where the fund invests.
"Tokenizing the ARK Venture Fund puts our conviction in the evolution, if not revolution, of capital markets into practice," said Cathie Wood, founder and CEO of ARK Invest. She noted that tokenization could fundamentally alter how capital moves through and engages with both private and public markets.
This launch extends a partnership that started with ARK Invest’s strategic investment in Securitize in October 2025. That investment aimed to advance the adoption of tokenized securities, real-world assets and regulated investment products.
"ARK's strategic investment in Securitize reflected a shared belief in the potential for tokenization to transform capital markets, and today we are putting that conviction into practice," said Carlos Domingo, co-founder and CEO of Securitize.
