You can read streamsage.news without an account. We don't set cookies or load third-party ad or analytics trackers, and we only have your email address if you sign up for alerts. This policy is published by Trade Logic LLC and takes effect on September 25, 2026.
No account needed
Every public page is free to read without signing up. We never ask for a password.
What's saved in your browser
A few small settings are kept in your browser's own storage on your device:
Your light or dark theme, and the desks and topics you follow.
A random ID for your browser and another for your current visit. They aren't linked to your name or email address.
A flag that stops the page from reloading over and over if a script fails to load. For some older alert signups, the link to manage your alerts is saved here too.
Clearing your browser's site data for streamsage.news removes all of it.
Usage data
To learn what readers find useful, the site sends us basic usage events along with those random IDs. If your browser has Do Not Track turned on, nothing is sent.
We record things like which stories you open and how far you read, which headlines and search results you see and click, what you search for, the desks and topics you follow, your reactions, when you share a story and where, and alert signups and cancellations. Your email address is never part of this data.
We use the request to work out your country and a general device and browser type. The site doesn't add your IP address to these events.
Search terms are saved, so please don't type personal details into search.
Usage data older than 365 days is deleted automatically on a regular schedule.
Reactions
When you react to a story, we save your choice with your browser's random ID so the site remembers it.
Email alerts
Alerts are optional. When you sign up, we store your email address and the desks and topics you picked. We email you a link to confirm, and that link also lets you change your settings or unsubscribe.
Emails are sent through our email provider.
We keep your subscription until you ask us to delete it. Unsubscribing stops the emails but keeps your address, settings, and delivery history on file. Email us if you want them deleted.
Search and sharing
Searches go to our server to find results.
The Share button can open X, Telegram, LinkedIn, Reddit, or your device's share menu, or copy the link. We record which option you picked and the story, not anything you post.
