The exchange will allow eligible US users to request shares at the IPO offer price, starting with Oura's debut this week.

Coinbase is giving qualified American retail clients access to initial public offering allocations via its application, The Block reported. The platform debuted the service alongside the recent listing of Oura, as detailed in a Monday blog entry.
Under the new program, users may submit requests for shares at the public offering price before trading starts. Depending on demand, allocations may be full, partial, or nonexistent. The product is a securities offering managed by Coinbase Capital Markets, with Apex handling execution, clearing, and custody.
"This new feature is yet another step toward growing the Everything Exchange, as our US customers now gain early exposure to high-interest companies before they hit public exchanges," the exchange said in the post.
In June 2026, the firm introduced pre-IPO perpetual futures for qualified clients outside the United States, beginning with SpaceX. These contracts provided price exposure without equity ownership. The new product differs by granting actual share holdings.
The company stated it is broadening its offerings to include equities, options, and other conventional market products. It noted specifically that American clients will be able to move their current equity positions to Coinbase and buy or sell leading stocks, index funds, and ETFs.
